When a series like this comes to an end its a little rough for me. Mainly because that's it it's over. And then because how does one review the last book in a series with out giving any spoilers for those whoe maybe haven't even read book 1? Chris and Sara .... I rooted for them like I rooted for Ross and Rachael.... They were just meant to be. They're like chocolate and peanut butter ... One with out the other is OKAY.... but together? They are magnificent. LRJ had a way with words that brings you into the characters worlds your my just reading it you experience it right along with them. I'm dying for more from her and so happy with the way she completed this journey on all levels. And isn't the cover gorgeous!!

Falling Away by Penelope Douglas Review

Jaxon is the guy she’s supposed to avoid.

K.C. is the girl he won’t let get away....

K. C. Carter has always followed the rules—until this year, when a mistake leaves her the talk of her college campus and her carefully arranged life comes crashing to a halt. Now she’s stuck in her small hometown for the summer to complete her court-ordered community service, and to make matters worse, trouble is living right next door.

Jaxon Trent is the worst kind of temptation and exactly what K.C. was supposed to stay away from in high school. But he never forgot her. She was the one girl who wouldn’t give him the time of day and the only one to ever say no. Fate has brought K.C. back into his life—except what he thought was a great twist of luck turns out to be too close for comfort. As the bond between them grows, he discovers that convincing K.C. to get out from her mother’s shadow is hard, but revealing the darkest parts of his soul is nearly impossible.…

I didnt LOVE Rival.. I liked it.. it didn't blow me away. But when I saw that Jax was finally getting a voice there was no way in HE double hockey sticks that I could turn it away. My faith in this series has been restored. Everything I loved about it was back. I don't know exactly what I found lacking in Rival.. all I know is that Falling Away is hands down my favorite in the series. Jax and K.C are both such complex characters, yet together? They somehow work. Never in a million years would I have paired the two together..but they are ying and yang they just are and always will make sense in a weird way. This story is so freaking good and also so very frustrating in the very best way. I strongly encourage you to read it.
