The Triple M Blog Tour
Books: “Losing Me, Finding You” “Loving Me, Trusting You”

Losing Me, Finding You Blurb

Twenty-one year old Amy Cross's idea of a hot Saturday night is curling up with her favorite book boyfriend and secretly sneaking a bottle of her mother's wine. That is, until she meets Austin Sparks, the biker boy with a past that burns like fire and a gaze she can't look away from. Without knowing what she's doing or why she's doing it, Amy ends up on the road with Austin traveling from one city to another while learning things she's only ever read about in romance novels.

At first it seems like Austin is Amy's fantasy come true, but as their journey progresses, she starts to sense that Austin is running away from something. Amy knows that she'll do whatever it takes to help him find himself. What she doesn't expect is that she'll lose herself in the process and how good it will feel to be free.

Review
Gah how I love me some bikers! I blame SOA. And I couldn't help picturing Jax as Austin. This is more then a story about a sheltered virgin falling in love within hot and sexy biker, well at least to me it was. Amy also discovered herself, she ran like the wind away from her over bearing and religiously scary family. Taking to the road with Austin who'd she had jus met but seems to have a connection to. But Austin isn't exactly just a biker he has secrets, but he's not the only one. Great read, super easy read it n a matter of hours. Pick this one up!

Loving Me, Trusting You Blurb

The Triple M Motorcycle Gang has a new president in Austin Sparks, the bad boy biker that swept Amy Cross off her feet. And nobody's happier about that than Gaine Kelley. Now that his best friend has finally found the woman of his dreams, Gaine's free to go after Mireya. But what if she isn't ready yet? What if the demons from her past howl so loud she can't hear him calling?

Mireya Sawyer isn't ready for love. Not yet. Maybe not ever. Especially not when the one thing she's always fought for is called into question. Triple M may not be a 'real' MC, but they're posing as one, and there are people that don't like that. People who can't accept the way they do things and are willing to take the time to put a stop to it. With several rival gangs circling around, threatening the rights of the women in Triple M, Mireya knows it's time to forget her love affair with Austin and move on. Thing is, Gaine's not willing to stand on the sidelines anymore. He loves her, but can she trust him?

Reviews:

“ ….the title of this book had me expecting something very like a teen romance. While there is romance aplenty in this wonderful novel, Girls Love Travis Walker is far more than that….

“Little did I know that what I was about to read would have such a huge impact on me…. This book hit me right in the heart.”
“I really loved Travis…. I cried and was scared with him.”

“This book will make you fall in love for so many reasons…”

My Review
4 out of 5 Stars
I never thought I'd feel sorry for a man whore like Travis Walker, but I guess the impossible is always possible. Travis has been dealt a shitty hand his dads in jail and his mom is basically useless and he's struggling to pay their rent and somehow manage to graduate high school a year late at the same time. Taking a job clearing out brush has helped, but when he finds the  Discovery program where he can start training to become a firefighter , and he just happens to excel at it, it turns out he is missing a major requirement of bein in the program.  When he spots a possible second job at a community center he meets Kat and she just seems different to him and he can't get her off his mind, but while trying to convince Kat to give him the time of day he spends krone and more time with her unavailable best friend Zoey and finds he enjoys the time the spend talking. Which girl will hold his interest? This story definitely held m interest there was just something about Travis Walker I want to mother him, this kid (ok he's 19 but he needed someone to help him out and care) has ended up in a bad situation with almost no hope of making it better. You will want to care for Travis too, great writing and reads really quickly. So I nudge you to take a chance on Travis Walker like I did and dare you not to feel for him. This was an unexpected tear jerker.

Review

Let me start by saying this book was nothing like I was expecting. We had received an email asking us to review Sweet Thing from Renne Carlino which we happily agreed to do. My other admin Nicole D was able to get to reading it before I could and then urged me to promptly get my ass to it, because it was as good as any one of one of my other favorite authors book. Now Nicole D's review will also be posted in this post but here are my thought.

I have to completely disagree with Nicole D... It was better then any of aforementioned authors books! This book made me FEEL, it made me yearn for a  happy ever after. I had tears in my eyes when it was over. I was sad there was no more, I was happy with the ending, I was sad still over Jackson and then June had me crying some more. (those things will make sense to you after you read this book because reading this book is an absolute MOST DO!
 photo tumblr_m5n6ldcmSS1qfpz1v_zps84261d15.gif

Ok so I have to say Mia often got on my nerves, like i wanted to just bang my head, her head hit with a pillow anything to make this girl OPEN HER EYES!!!

 photo tumblr_inline_mjzed4enNV1qz4rgp_zpsa22bafa9.gif

Will was the ABSOLUTE of  PERFECTION. Like rockstar, silly, sexy, sweet, funny did i say sexy?

 photo tumblr_mklc7ktAeX1ryiejxo1_250_zps91f354ab.gif

And heres Mia screwing up at every damn turn! Now I did like Mia despite wanting to smack her upside the head, I just didn't understand her need for "Mr Suitable" when she had Will right there in front of her!!!

Sweet thing touched my heart and will not be easily forgotten. Watching and waiting for Mia and Will to come together was pure torture in the best possible way. They are like the perfect match, it was like their souls sang to each other. I don;t know if any of you watch New Girl and had that feeling of complete happiness when Nick & Jess finally kissed? Because that is the exact same feeling I had when it finally happened for Mia and Will.

 photo newgirlkiss_zpsf55f8964.gif

It was sweet perfection. There really isn't much I can say it made me laugh, cry , smile and made my heart FEEL for these characters so READ THIS BOOK. Oh and one more thing READ THIS BOOK!!!!

TEASER

“I couldn’t say the words because the feeling had unearthed a new sensation that I had no experience with in a relationship… fear. It’s a plaguing, unruly affliction that clouds any happiness born from real love. It’s a fool who thinks love will set him free. Love equals a morbid and relentless fear of losing the other person. It’s a freak-accident fear, a piece of space junk falling from the sky and obliterating him, leaving nothing but his smoking boots. It’s the unfortunate-organ-defect fear—suddenly, on his thirtieth birthday, the little crack in his heart that’s been there since birth will rear its ugly head and take him in his sleep while he’s spooning you. It’s the only way to know you’re really in love, when you ask the question would it be harder to watch him die, or to know he’ll watch me die? Is there more mercy in being the one who does the watching or in being the one who does the dying? It’s when you realize what mercy-killing actually means, it’s when you actually care to the point of tormenting worry. It’s not roses and white horses, it’s fucking brutal and it can send a person running for the hills. To love is brave and Will was the bravest person I knew.”

PLAYLIST

Sweet Thing was inspired almost entirely by my love for music and the music scene.  There are so many famous songs not only referenced in my book but performed by the characters as a tribute to those artists and further proof of my obsession.  Sweet Thing follows the trials and tribulations of two twenty-something musicians, Mia and Will, who fall in love over the course of a year and find that their shared musical appreciation and talent is the ultimate catalyst in their relationship.

I thought I would list a few songs referenced or performed from the book and then list a few that I just listened to while I was writing it.  Many times a song would evoke an emotion in me, which aided in making a scene more dramatic, powerful or sweet.

“Ask” by The Smiths

There is just something inherently happy about this song and when Will sings a couple of lines to Mia, it speaks volumes.

“Yellow Ledbetter” by Pearl Jam

This is an old favorite of mine that Will performs at Kell’s Café.  Even though he doesn’t sing the words until the very end, I just had to have him play that smooth, sexy guitar solo.

“Pictures of You” The Cure

This song has stuck with me for many, many years.  There is this building up feeling with the guitars in the beginning; it’s like a really delicate crescendo before Robert Smith starts singing.  Will plays this in the apartment, just goofing around with the song, when Mia surprises him and discovers how truly talented he is.  I always thought of Will singing these lyrics to her because I think the lyrics are powerful and romantic. I chose a live version because they jam a bit longer in the intro and I love that.

“Wash”(iTunes Session) by Bon Iver
and a stem remix called “We Washed Texas” by St. South

THIS IS THE SONG.  This song wrote half the scenes in my book.  I’m putting two versions because of how much I love it. The emotion in the original version and again that building up, the crescendo that helped me to build the drama in a scene is what I love about it.  I would get completely emotional listening to this.  When Mia asks Will to make her feel better in chapter (Track) 17, this was the song I was listening to when I wrote it. The second version I just recently started listening to while writing two new scenes from Will’s point of view.  It’s a much softer and sort of melancholy version.

“Cheer Darlin’” by Damien Rice

This is such a sexy, bluesy, sad song.  I didn’t reference it in Sweet Thing, but I felt like Will was singing this to Mia for much of the book while she strung him a long and especially when he walks in to find her with Robert.

“Hole in the Ocean Floor” by Andrew Bird

I listened to this many times, especially while Mia was in Memphis.  It helped me to visualize the scene.  I like the fragility in it.  It’s one of those songs where you need to be quiet and just listen to fully appreciate it.  This extremely talented artist inspired some of Will’s gifts.

Three bad things I learned this year:
-People you trust lie, even parents.
-That hot guy, the one who’s totally into you, he might not be the one.
-Things are not always how they appear.
Three good things I learned this year:
-Best friends are always there for you, even when they’re far away.
-That other hot guy, the one who remembers your birthday, he just might be the one.
-Oh, and things are not always how they appear.

Anna Sanders expected an anonymous (and uneventful) senior year until she crossed paths with rich-and-sexy Jack Kyser and his twin sister Lucy.
Pulling Anna into their extravagant lifestyle on the Gulf Coast, Lucy pushed Anna outside her comfort zone, and Jack showed her feelings she’d never experienced... Until he mysteriously withdrew.
Anna turned to her internship at the city paper and to her old attraction for Julian, a handsome local artist and rising star, for distraction. But both led to her discovery of a decades-old secret closely guarded by the twins’ distant, single father.
A secret that could permanently change all their lives.

Review of Undertow
4 out of 5 Stars

I'd like to start by saying the only reason Undertow is getting 4 stars and not more is because I wish there has been more Jack, Anna and Julian in it. Though truth be told I don't even know if we will be seeing more of Jack. Undertow unveils a lot of the mystery from Dragonfly the how and whys of things. We get to see the past from Meg, Lexys and Billys POV's from their journal entries which helps us understand how Julian came to be. I must say it is very scandalous, but I found my heart breaking for Lexy and Billy despite their betrayal of Meg, which tells me one thing Leigh creates AMAZING characters who even when they are doing wrong we still love and root for them. I hope that we will get to see more Anna and Julian in Watercolors and that secrets and lies won't tear them apart. Because in case you forgot I'M TEAM JULIAN!!!

The Dragonfly series Playlist
By Leigh Talbert Moore

I love music—LOVE it. So when I was writing Dragonfly and Undertow (simultaneously) waaay back in 2009-2010, I had several songs going through my mind.

The whole series revolves around the Very Bad Things you’ll read in Undertow (mistakes made by Meg, Bill, and Lexy). Their story feels more like classic rock and pop—old Wham! and Springsteen. (Yes, those can go together.)

Of course, Julian and Anna are the heroes of the tale, and they’re NOW. But how they deal with the truths they’re handed is what makes it all so interesting.

So it’s all a big, eclectic mix tape.

To kind of follow that theme of broken dreams and lies and manipulations, I was thinking of storyteller songs like “Thunder Road.”

But at the same time, I loved songs that focused on a single thought like, “I’m Gonna Make You Love Me” (Jayhawks) or “Make You Smile” (+44).

For your listening enjoyment, I put the condensed list together on Spotify. Here’s the link: https://play.spotify.com/user/leightmoore/playlist/1o1OSjX2kqU1gjmFRJyhOR

Rock On! And THANKS for reading my books! I hope you fall in love with these characters and their dreams, heartaches, and attempts to make it better as much as I have.

Skin Deep Blog Tour

Oh, who was she kidding? Emma knew that going to the tattoo shop with her best friend, Allie, would result in getting badgered until she ended up with some sort of needle piercing her flesh in one way or another. What she didn’t plan on was ending up face-first on the floor of the shop with a busted lip. Or doing it in front of the hottest guy she’d seen since…well, ever.

Mortified, Emma never thought she’d ever step foot back in Skin Deep again. But fate, with a little help from Emma’s flighty best friend and a chance encounter with a fudge bar, steps in. Now Emma’s torn between taking a chance on getting her heart broken by the enigmatic, gorgeous Lucas, and playing it safe with good ol’ trusty B.O.B.

Lucas lets Emma know that he gets what he wants, and what he wants is her. When Emma gives in and quits pushing him away, she’s surprised at how quickly the walls around her heart crumble. She’s even more surprised that her unconventional, zany family just endears her even more to him.

But no one knows there’s someone that wants her more, and they’ll stop at nothing to get her.

*Recommended for readers 18+ due to HOT sexual encounters, adult situations, and language

Skin Deep starts out with Emma being forced to get a tattoo
 photo tumblr_m9p11osPCF1qkulzco1_500_zpsa6562a8a.gif
by her best friend Allie where she meets (fumbles ands stumbles into) Luke. After she has her tattoo done and Allie gets her piercing, they leave and Emma is a little sad that she won;t ever see Luke again. An unfortunate event has Emma heading back to Skin Deep, and ends up having a very happy ending when Luke asks her out! Now Luke is so damn HOT he will be leaving you all like
 photo cFPOD_zps6e9e5b30.gif

He is ALPHA to the core, and I mean LIKE the ALPHA of the alphas. Which actually scares Emma off from him because she has already been in a relationship with Douche bag Brad who expected her to do as he says when he says.  Luke isn't going to give up on Emma so easy tho because once he decided she was HIS that was it.  Now there were a few EXTREMELY kinky moments. Things you aren't going to find in your every day romance novel, and while these things don't get my engine revving they were still HOT. photo tumblr_mimu9hjWit1s0cjcro1_400_zpsa809d3f8.gif Luke has a very dark and kinky side that Emma told him to unleash maybe a little before she was ready. But there encounter after leaves her with a heady excitement for more that Luke has to offer. BUT Luke isn't the only one with his eyes on Emma, nope she has someone who is watching and calling her.
photo tumblr_lvz4qmIZ7N1r4qzijo1_250_zps6486ffb4.gif Can you say Creepy??

All in All I truly enjoyed this story, while the KINK factor is a little high for me, I guess I'm just way to vanilla, it doesn't do anything to take away from the actual story so don;t let that scare you off, and seriously it was only like ONE moment that was super KINKY I mean it was still HOT just nothing I would partake in. lol I'm not making any sense am I? JUST IGNORE ME. Great Story, AMAZING complicated characters, definitely has a lot of components that I have never seen or read in it before. So my suggestion is that you totally pick it up and give it a shot!

Flirting Questions

What does love feel like?

Warm, fuzzy, secure, safe, sheltered

In the lobby of the bank that I worked in. I was on all fours under a Christmas tree tightening the screws in the base. What can I say? Baby got back!

If you could take a romantic trip, where would it be?

Any trip I take with Hubs is romantic. One of his favorite things to do is to whisk me away to wine and dine me.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Absolutely! Ask me how I feel about my grandson Grayson!
