A standalone erotica/adult romance fiction.
What do you do when the man you love leaves, and the only man you’ve wanted since is the one you can’t have?
When Emma’s first love walked away after learning she was pregnant, she was forced to pick up the pieces, re-evaluate her priorities, and change the course of her dreams all for the sake of her son, who became the only one who mattered.
It also meant taking a job with Jack McMillan; powerful, sexy, controlled, and CEO of McMillan Holdings. Emma has spent the last several years keeping her dreams and fantasies of Jack to herself, but one night, and one encounter, changed everything.
Once the walls between them are dropped and the truth is laid bare, will Jack and Emma’s new relationship be able to survive? When they are forced to confront their pasts, will they learn to finally put their trust in someone else, or will the lies that are told destroy them both?
Jack? How does one describe Jack
You have ruined me (at least for a little while). Jack hired Emma when she needed a job the most, she was young, pregnant and alone. Ever since then he has been fighting how badly he wanted her until one night he loses control and screws it up just as quickly.
After some quick words and maybe a little groveling
Jack gets a second chance and things HEAT UP quickly!
But when a man from her past renters Emmas life it could change everything they have tried to build together, will he put Jack and Emmas relationship at risk? Jack vows to protect Emma then then he SCREWS IT ALL UP!!!! Jack
And poor Emma is left in such pain and confusion
Just when she starts thinking she MIGHT able to pick herself up and MAYBE move on Jack comes back but he still won't tell her what is going on, and people keep saying this things about jack to her that only leave her more confused. Hell it left me a little confused! I
cheered when Emma finally decided to fight for what she wanted, because like a lot of us I don't like weak heroines. But Stacy (The author) had me scared and begging
for a HEA. Though I did have wavering thoughts on which guy I wanted her to be with, because both men have there plus sides. I think in the end I got exactly what I wanted out of Don't Lie to me.
Well developed characters that you will come to love, amazing plot and reads extremely quickly almost like watching a movie on a Saturday afternoon. Loved it!
I am a wife, a mom, and a writer. I can often be found curled up on the couch with a good book, or obsessively eating Skittles in a very complicated and organized manner. No joke.
